Title: Lightweight Linux Distro for Old Laptops - Which One Reigns Supreme?

Hey guys, I've been looking for a good lightweight Linux distro to breathe some new life into my 10-year-old laptop. So far, I've checked out Lubuntu, LXLE, and Xubuntu, but I'm not sure which one to choose. Has anyone got any experience with these or any other distros that would be perfect for an old laptop?

"I've had success with Lubuntu on my old HP Pavilion. It's a solid choice if you need something lightweight and user-friendly. Been running it on a 2012 laptop with 4GB RAM, and it's still performing smoothly."

"Lubuntu has been a lifesaver for me with my old ASUS Eee PC. Super lightweight and still manages to run most of my apps without any issues. Has anyone else had any luck with other distros like Xubuntu or LXLE?"

"Been runnin' Puppy Linux on my old Thinkpad and it's been a beast - super lightweight, easy to boot, and can handle basic tasks like browsing and email. The community's also super active, so you can find tons of pre-built distros with various software packages. Anyone else have a soft spot for Puppy?"
