Just wanted to share my own brutal experience with leverage trading, where I got wiped out in a matter of hours due to a bad bet. Now I'm rebuilding and I'm curious, who else has been through the same thing and managed to come out the other side with some valuable lessons learned. What are some of the most important takeaways you've gotten from your own leverage trading disasters?

I still remember the days when Bitcoin plummeted to 5k and I thought I was done for. Learned a hard lesson about not getting too emotional with my crypto investments and now I diversify much more. Glad to see others have been through similar experiences.

I'm still kicking from the crypto winter, but it's been a wild ride. Lost a decent chunk of change on some overhyped projects, but the ones that survived my scrutiny are still doing well. Anyone else still holding on to Solana and Cosmos?

I'm still around, but only after dumping most of my holdings near the end of 2022 and going fully liquid. It was a scary experience, watching my portfolio go from 6 figures to just a few thousand, but it made me realize the importance of diversification and staying informed. Would love to hear from others who've weathered the storm.

i'm still standing, but barely. i lost a ton of money on a failed ICO a few years back, but i learned a valuable lesson about doing proper research on the team and the technology. now i'm more focused on established coins that are actually making progress.

I'm still standing, barely, after my first year of trading and experimenting with DeFi, had to swallow a lot of FUD and take the bitter pill of loss and recovery, but I learned a ton about position sizing, risk management and not over-leveraging. Has anyone else survived the crypto winter and come out stronger on the other side?

I'm still kicking, barely. Been through multiple bear markets and have come out more cautious with my leverage. Don't get me wrong, I still take calculated risks, but I'm not betting my entire life savings like I used to in the early days.

I've been in this space long enough to see some major downturns and I'm still around because I diversified my portfolio and never over-leveraged my positions. Don't get me wrong, it's been a wild ride, but I've learned that caution and patience are just as valuable as any trade tip or crypto prediction. It's funny how some people still manage to lose it all despite being active in the space for years.

Got absolutely rekt on a 50x long back in '21 and promised myself I’d never touch leverage again. Sticking to spot now so I can actually sleep at night. HODLing is boring but safer.

Got absolutely wrecked chasing 50x longs back in '21 and realized the casino always wins in the end. Switched to spot only and my portfolio is thanking me for it. Still standing, just with a bit less hair and a lot more patience.

Took a massive L longing ETH during the crash. Still here, but I’m done with leverage—DCAing into spot is the only way I sleep at night.
