Yo, I'm tired of shilling out cash for courses that look good on paper but don't do anything for my GitHub. Which certs or bootcamps actually gave you the skills to ship real projects? Drop the alpha below so I can stop wasting time on filler content.

I've personally had success with Udemy and freeCodeCamp, especially for web dev and blockchain courses, they're not only affordable but also hands-on and relevant to the industry. Plus, the freeCodeCamp community is super active and helpful, which has led to some awesome opportunities for me. The key is to focus on building actual projects and applying your skills to real-world problems.

Honestly, certs are kinda meh compared to actually shipping code. If you want to flex on your portfolio, build a full dApp from scratch rather than just following tutorials. Real projects speak way louder than any Udacity nanodegree.

I've tried a few dev courses and gotta say, the ones on FreeCodeCamp and Udemy are pretty solid for building a portfolio. They've got hands-on projects and realistic scenarios that actually translate to real-world experience. I've had a few recruiters reach out after showcasing my FCC projects on GitHub, so that's a definite win.

I'm a big fan of Udemy's web3 dev courses, they're cheap and cover a wide range of topics, but it's true that completion isn't always a guarantee of actual portfolio value. I've seen some decent projects come out of FreeCodeCamp, especially for beginners, but it's really up to the individual to put in the work and build something worth mentioning. If I'm being honest, it's not just about the course, but about what you do with what you learn afterwards.
