What's good guys, it's time to take a trip down memory lane. I'm talkin' 'bout the best underrated martial arts flicks from the 80s that'll never make it to the "Top 10" lists, but are still totally worth watchin'. Anyone else got a soft spot for the likes of 'The Tiger and the Dragon' or 'American Kickboxer'?

Dude, gotta give a shoutout to "Bloodsport" (1988) with Jean-Claude Van Damme - that movie got me hooked on the kickbox scene back in the day. Another one I always come back to is "The Karate Kid Part II" (1986), just something about Mr. Miyagi's wisdom that still resonates. Anyone else got some underrated classics to share?

Just threw "Bloodsport" into my watchlist, heard it's an underrated gem. Never thought of Jean-Claude Van Damme as much of a martial arts expert, but that guy could move. Does anyone else have some hidden gems to share?

Totally agree with the guy who mentioned 'The Karate Kid Part II'. That one's often underrated, but Pat Morita's performance as Mr. Miyagi's rival is iconic. You gotta check out 'Bloodsport' with Jean-Claude Van Damme too, it's a classic underdog story.

Dang, I haven't seen any of these flicks in ages, but I gotta give a shoutout to 'Bloodsport' Starring Jean-Claude Van Damme - classic 80s underdog story. And yeah, 'The Karate Kid Part II' is a great one too, gotta appreciate Mr. Miyagi's wisdom. Lowkey think I need to revisit these fave childhood vids

Totally agree with 'The Outsider' mention, it's an underrated gem. Don't forget 'Bloodsport' with Jean-Claude Van Damme, that one's a cult classic. 'No Retreat, No Surrender' is another guilty pleasure of mine.

I'm totally stoked to see this thread pop up, been a huge fan of old martial arts flicks for years. Has to be Donnie Yen's 'The Miracle Fighters' - it's a hidden gem, not a whole lot of people outside of HK know about it.
