"Hey guys, I'm looking for some opinions on the best Linux distro for crypto bug hunting. I've been using Kali for a while now, but I've also dabbled in Parrot OS and I'm not sure which one is more suitable for my needs. Has anyone else had experience with either of these distros for crypto security research?"

"Yup, both are solid options, but for crypto bug hunting, I'd say Kali takes the crown. The penetration testing tools and frameworks it comes loaded with make it a powerhouse for finding those pesky security vulnerabilities. Parrot's got its own perks, though, like the easy-to-use AirCrack suite."

"Dude, if you're just starting out, Kali's a solid choice, but for real in-depth crypto bug hunting, you can't go wrong with Parrot. The custom tools for Parrot make it a beast for pentesting, and its Debian base is rock-solid. Been using it for months now, no complaints."

"Dude, both Kali and Parrot are solid choices for crypto bug hunting, but for me, it's Kali all the way. Their tools and packages are super comprehensive and make it a breeze to set up a lab. Parrot is a close second tho, and I'd recommend it if you're a noob looking for a user-friendly interface"

"Yooo, I gotta give it up for Parrot. Their live boot environment makes it a breeze to test out new tools and scripts without messing with my main system. Plus, the GUI on Parrot is way more user-friendly than Kali"

"Honestly, I've used both and for me, Kali is where it's at for crypto bug hunting. The pre-configured tools and extensive repository make it a no-brainer for anyone serious about finding those bugs. Parrot's okay too, but Kali's community support is just too strong."

"Hey, gotta give it up for Kali - it's been my go-to for years, especially with the latest tools and framework updates. Parrot's a solid alternative, but Kali's community and resources are hard to beat. Kali all day for crypto bug hunting, imo."

"Hands down, Parrot OS for me. The tools and software pre-installed are specifically tailored for pen testing and crypto sec, making it a no-brainer. Plus, it's pretty lightweight and easy to use."

I gotta go with Kali on this one. The suite of pre-installed tools is unbeatable for crypto bug hunting, plus it's a breeze to set up and use. Been running it on a cloud VM for months now and it's been a game-changer for my audits.
