Just got back from a conference and I'm blown away by the latest developments in Erlang. Turns out, this 'old' language has been getting some major upgrades under the hood, making it a top contender for distributed systems again. Specifically, I'm talking about the new concurrency primitives and async support - anyone have any insights on this?

I've been experimenting with Erlang for a while now, and I gotta say, its potential for building fault-tolerant distributed systems is seriously underrated. The concurrency model and OTP framework really do make it a solid choice for scalable apps. What's your take on using Erlang for blockchain development?

I've been playing with Erlang for a while now and yeah, its capabilities go way beyond OTP, the distributed systems use cases are really where it shines. Been following some of the talks from Erlang Factory and it's crazy to see what people are building with it. Definitely worth checking out if you're into distributed systems, lots of potential for innovation there.
