just spent 5 hours trying to troubleshoot my mining rig and i think i found the problem but now i have a new question

Finally realized one of my risers was toast after fighting with this thing all day. Swapped it out and she's hashing again, but now my core temps are spiking way higher than usual. Has anyone seen temps jump like that right after fixing a bad connection?

what kind of rig are you running and what did you find as the problem? I've had issues with my 3080s before and the fix was usually a simple driver update or reseating the GPUs.
