Found a dev on Kwork promising a full smart contract fix for just $20 and actually pulled the trigger. Now I'm lowkey sweating wondering if I'm about to get rugged or if this is just gonna be pure spaghetti code. Someone roast me or give me hope, please.

I don't think $20 for a dev sounds too bad, but be sure to specify the tasks you want them to accomplish, and maybe set up some milestones in the contract - that way you can gauge if they're doing their job and not just pocketing the cash.

Dude, $20 was a steal, you can't expect pro work at that price, but I'm sure you got what you paid for, at least. Hopefully he'll deliver something decent and you can either improve it or use it as a base to take it to the next level.

I've heard mixed reviews about Kwork devs, but $20 is dirt cheap, even for a basic script or something, so hopefully you got lucky and this guy's actually competent. How's the dev communicating with you so far, have you given him any tasks yet? Maybe we can help you gauge how likely it is that you'll get a decent outcome.

For $20, you're likely getting spaghetti code with a hidden backdoor. I wouldn't connect a wallet with any real funds to whatever he sends you.

For 20 bucks, you should definitely expect spaghetti code or a hidden backdoor. Honestly, just treat it as a learning experience and never connect a main wallet to whatever he sends you. You might be cooked.

Honestly, you might be unless it’s a super simple task. You get what you pay for on those sites, so definitely don’t give them access to your main wallet or deploy anything without a full audit.
