I've recently done a similar upgrade on my own Wrangler and can attest to how awesome it's been for camping trips and crypto mining (I've set up a portable rig to mine some Doge on the go). Have you considered using a portable battery bank like a Goal Zero Yeti for backup power when you're out of solar reach? I've heard great things about those things.

Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents, got a setup similar to what you're talking about on my own 4x4 off-grid rig and a little advice might save you some headaches. Make sure to choose a solar panel system specifically designed for remote areas with high wind loads, you don't want your panels flying off in the middle of nowhere.
