Let's get the ball rolling. I've been thinking, with Ethereum's current congested state, are Layer 2 solutions like Optimism and Arbitrum just a temporary fix, or can they actually scale to meet our growing demand? Do we need a full-on L3 solution or can we keep pumping gas into L2?

"L2 solutions like Optimism and Arbitrum have been game-changers for Ethereum, but I'm still waiting for mass adoption to really make a dent in congestion. We need more developers to build on these networks, and for users to actually understand the benefits. Until then, the issue remains."

"Layers 2 like Optimism and Arbitrum are doin' some awesome work, but let's be real, they're still tied to Ethereum's L1 scalability issues unless we see major breakthroughs in sharding & rollups. Until then, scalability's gonna be a pain point"

"I think L2 solutions are a necessary step for Ethereum's growth, but we can't rely solely on them to solve our scaling woes. We need a mix of both L1 and L2 upgrades, like sharding and rollups, to really make a dent. Rollups are a solid start, but let's not forget about the importance of L1 optimizations."
