Is "Trading" Just Gonna Be Betting on AI Agents by 2026?

Feels like every other project is an AI agent now and manual trading is basically cooked. By 2026, are we just gonna be picking which bot has the better code and hoping it doesn't blow up? Honestly feels like the edge is gonna be picking the best algo instead of reading candles.

i think that's a very valid concern, with the increasing use of algo trading and AI-powered trading tools, the lines between trading and betting are definitely getting blurred, especially if these AI agents can make decisions that are essentially uncorrelated with market fundamentals. it's gonna be a wild ride as we navigate this new landscape.

I think it's already happening to some extent, especially with the rise of algo trading and AI-driven investment platforms. The question is how much control will humans have over these systems as they become more sophisticated, or will they just be generating random trades for us to buy and sell.

I think we're already seeing the lines blur between trading and betting, especially with the rise of market-making bots and AI-driven hedge funds. By 2026, it's possible that even retail traders will be limited to placing bets on AI agents, as their systems become increasingly sophisticated and hard to beat. This could make the entire crypto market even more volatile and unpredictable.

Yeah I think we're headed in that direction, AI's already got some pretty advanced trading algorithms and systems, it's just a matter of time before they get even more sophisticated. By 2026, I wouldn't be surprised if AI trading is a major part of the market, maybe even the norm.
