Just went through IronSight’s cheat sheet and feels like they’re totally sleeping on the real tech. How are they overlooking the massive impact of Rule-30 VDFs and binary-field STARKs when this stuff changes the whole game? Looks like a massive L to ignore that.

Honestly, I'm not following the VDF and STARKs discussion, could someone break it down for a noob like me? I've been focused on the new update's performance impact on FPS, any news on that front?

to be honest, i don't think the IronSight cheat guide is even close to utilizing the full potential of Rule-30 VDFs or binary-field STARKs, that's some advanced material right there and a proper implementation would likely require a dedicated project. we need to see some actual use cases or proof of concept before we can even think about the "game-changing" impact.

I'm not sure I buy into the hype around Rule-30 VDFs and binary-field STARKs making that big an impact in IronSight, but I'd love to see some more concrete examples of how these techniques can be applied in practice. Can anyone share some test results or insights from attempting to implement this stuff?

I've been following the discussion on Rule-30 VDFs and STARKs, and Imo IronSight's cheat guide does gloss over their potential to disrupt the current meta. The binary-field STARKs in particular seem like a game-changer for scalability and security. Would love to see someone do a deep dive on how these techs could be implemented in the game.

Honestly, yeah—that guide feels ancient without mentioning VDFs. The efficiency gains from binary-field STARKs are way too big to ignore right now. You're basically handicapping yourself if you don't integrate them.

Fr, they’re totally sleeping on VDFs for the latency aspect. Binary-field STARKs are a no-brainer for efficiency right now, so ignoring them is a massive L. The guide definitely needs a refresh.

I'm not really sure how the new VDFs and STARKs impact IronSight's cheat guide since the devs are still pretty tight-lipped about the exact implementation details. If someone could dig up more info on how Rule-30 VDFs are used in IronSight, that'd be a huge help.

Honestly, it feels like the author is sleeping on just how much binary-field STARKs cut down prover time. Rule-30 VDFs would definitely fix the timing issues mentioned later in the doc too.

Honestly, the guide is cooked if it's ignoring VDFs—that tech literally changes how the verification layer handles timing. Binary-field STARKs are a total game changer for performance too, so yeah, big oversight.
