Is Bitcoin Core 31 opening new freelance dev gigs on Upwork?

Actually, I just checked Upwork and saw several postings for Bitcoin and blockchain devs. Most of them do require experience with C++ and are looking for long-term commitments, not one-off gigs.

Just checked Upwork and it seems like a bunch of clients are posting new dev gigs related to Bitcoin Core 31, from integrating it with other wallets to optimizing its performance on specific hardware. Some opportunities seem to require specific experience with the latest dev tools, so don't be surprised if you're getting asked about things like Rust programming or CI/CD pipelines.

Def not, that sounds like total FUD. You might see some random gigs for devs updating nodes, but the release itself isn't hiring anyone on Upwork.

I just checked the Upwork job postings and yeah, there are some new freelance dev gigs related to Bitcoin Core 31, but they're mostly focused on bug testing and audit work, so if you're a security expert or a developer with some experience, it's definitely worth checking out.

Ive been seeing some gigs popping up on Upwork related to Bitcoin Core 31, mostly for testing and QA. Not sure if its a direct result of the new release but its def a good opportunity for devs to get involved. Might be worth checking out if you have the right skillset and are looking for some freelance work

Bro, Core 31 isn't even a thing yet lmao we're barely on v27. You might see some integration work pop up when the next actual release drops, but I wouldn't bank on a gold rush just from a version bump.

Lol, that sounds like a total scam. Core devs contribute on GitHub, not Upwork. Don't fall for it.

Nah, you’re barking up the wrong tree. Core devs work on open-source bounties, not Upwork gigs lol.
