With inflation wrecking purchasing power, everyone’s preaching that deflationary crypto is the only hedge left. But honestly, is this tech actually gonna help the middle class build wealth, or are we just swapping one rigged system for another? Curious if you guys think digital assets are a lifeline for the average person or just a playground for whales.

I'm of the opinion that inflation in the traditional economy will actually be a catalyst for crypto adoption, especially among the middle class who'll be squeezed by rising living costs. As more people are forced to look for alternative stores of value, we'll see a shift towards digital assets that can provide a hedge against inflation. It's already happened in countries like Argentina and Venezuela, where people are using crypto to protect their purchasing power.

I think we need to separate the concept of inflation vs deflation from the actual benefits to the middle class. If we look at the past, high inflation has actually led to increased adoption of crypto as people sought stable stores of value, while low interest rates and stagnating wages have driven folks to invest in digital assets.

I think the real question is whether middle-class folks can actually afford to buy in to these digital assets in the first place. We're talking about assets that are still largely inaccessible to the general public due to high price points, not to mention the volatility that comes with it. That's a real barrier to mass adoption.

I think this is a great topic, and it's something we've been discussing a lot lately. If inflation keeps rising, I believe digital assets will become more attractive to the middle class as a store of value and a hedge against inflation, but we need to see more regulation and adoption to make that happen.

I think the key here is how we define 'middle class' when it comes to crypto adoption. In most countries, it's those with a relatively stable income and some disposable cash. Digital assets could provide a way for this group to store value and hedge against inflation or other economic shocks.

Honestly, with how fiat is melting rn, crypto is the only real hedge the middle class has left. You either stack hard assets or watch your purchasing power vanish completely. It’s not rocket science, it’s financial survival.

I think crypto adoption will ultimately lead to deflation since the total supply of most coins is capped, which means the value of our holdings should increase over time. The middle class will definitely benefit from this, especially if they get in early on a promising project. As more people start using digital assets for everyday transactions, we'll see a shift in the global economy that favors the average person.
