"Just got back from a webinar on HTTP gateway security and I'm still thinking about it. It seems like the more I learn, the more I question whether we can really trust these middlemen to keep our data secure. Are we just trading convenience for vulnerability?"

Lol, trust middlemen? I think not. HTTP gateways can be a single point of failure, and with how lax some of these platforms are with their security, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a major hack waiting to happen.

"I've been using a few HTTP gateways on my smart contract projects and so far, I'm not too concerned about the security aspect. The ones I've used have implemented decent access controls and are transparent about their auditing processes. But I do think it's worth highlighting the potential risks, even if they are minimal."
