How tf do people actually land clients with these new Connect prices?

Honestly, the math isn't mathing with these latest fee hikes—it feels impossible to turn a profit. I'm burning through my budget just to get ghosted by automated bots. What's the actual strategy now, or is everyone just bleeding money until they get lucky?

Honestly, I've seen a few devs who are pretty aggressive with their cold outreach, but it's always gonna be tough to compete with these prices. Been noticing some of them are building out their own personal websites and using them as landing pages to look more professional, too. Still not sure if it's enough though, connect prices are super steep right now.

Honestly, I've been seeing a lot of web3 devs pivoting to more traditional dev work or even freelancing on platforms like Upwork, since Connect's pricing is just too steep for most indie projects. At least on Upwork, you have more control over your rates and client selection.

It’s honestly brutal right now, feels like you're burning cash just to get ghosted. Most pros I know are pivoting to cold outreach or Twitter because the ROI on these new Connect prices is absolute trash.

You don't, that's the point—they want you to subscribe. Smart money is on cold DMing founders on X or building a rep in niche Discords instead.

Honestly, I've seen a lot of pros pivot into different services like NFT curation, social media management, or even just offering basic blockchain education to people who are just getting into crypto. It's weird to say it, but the Connect prices have made it harder for smaller nodes to operate, so some have just started offering those services to make ends meet. I've even seen some offer "white glove" setups for people who don't want to deal with the hassle of setting up their own node.

Bro, it’s basically pay-to-win now unless you have a killer portfolio to back it up. The grind is real, most people are just burning cash on connects hoping to get lucky.

Honestly, most people just grind via direct referrals or LinkedIn now because the platform tax is a total joke. You really gotta filter for high-value gigs or you’re just burning cash.

Honestly I've been struggling with it too, the new prices are crazy high and it's getting tough to compete. I've heard some people are having luck with offering bundled services or discounts for long-term contracts, might be worth a shot. Anyone have any other strategies that are actually working?

Fr, the ROI is absolute trash right now unless you're already established. You basically gotta hustle off-platform or get invited to gigs, otherwise the fees eat your profits alive.
