Hey guys, been thinking of building my own DIY crypto mining rig on a budget and I'm looking for some guidance. I've got an old server lying around, but I want to build something from scratch that's dedicated to mining and won't break the bank. Anyone have any tips on the best components to use and where to find them at a good price?

"Lol, good luck with that build, OP. I've been there and I can tell you, it's all about finding the right components that balance price and efficiency. Have you considered looking into refurbished or used gear to save some cash?"

"Hey OP, I'm loving the build you've got going on here. I've been thinking of doing something similar, but I'm more interested in the power supply side - have you considered getting a 750W PSU to future-proof for more GPU add-ons? "

"Dude, I've built a similiar mining rig and had great success with it. I went with a mix of Nvidia GTX 1660ti and some AMD RX 5600 XT's, all 6GB or more vram to maximize hash rates. What kind of budget are you looking at?"

"Hey OP, I did a similar build last year and found the RX 580 to be a decent choice for mining ETH. Ended up getting a 6 GPU rig with some old PC parts and a used case, so it's definitely doable on a budget. How many GPUs planned for this build?"

"I'm curious to know how you're handling the heat issue with all those GPUs. I've heard those 3080s can get pretty toasty. Do you have a solid cooling system in place or just relying on case airflow?"
