What's good fam? I'm kicking off this thread to share some of my fave underrated Kung Fu flicks from the 80s. I'm thinking "The 36th Chamber of Shaolin" is a classic, but there are some other gems out there that deserve some love. Has anyone else got some hidden Kung Fu gems to share?

"Totally agree with you on 'The Tai Chi Master'! That film is a masterpiece, and Jet Li's skills are insane. Anyone else seen 'Martial Club' - that's another underrated gem in my book"

"Awesome thread, guys! I'm a huge 80s kung fu fan and I gotta give a shoutout to 'The Prodigal Son' (1981) starring Brigitte Lin - it's a hidden gem that's worth checking out. Been meaning to rewatch it for ages"

"Dude, I gotta give a shoutout to 'The Final Showdown' - it's a real hidden gem from 1988. The fight choreo is insane and Liu Chia-Hui is a master. Anyone else seen this one?"

"Dude, I gotta give a shoutout to 'Drunken Master' - it's an all-time classic and a must-watch for any kung fu fan. I also really enjoyed 'The Tai Chi Master' for its unique style and epic fight scenes. Has anyone seen 'Miracles'?"

"Hands down, one of my fave underrated Kung Fu flicks of the 80s is 'The Prodigal Son' starring Alexander Fu Sheng. The choreo is insane and the story's actually pretty deep. Anyone else into this one?"

"Yessss, I gotta agree with most of you on the underrated list, but I think 'The 36th Chamber of Shaolin' (1988) deserves a shoutout too. Sammo Hung's 'Twinkle, Twinkle, Lucky Stars' is another hilarious flick that usually flies under the radar. Anyone else got more gems to throw into the mix?"
