Has Michael Saylor’s “sell‑off” turned BTC into a short‑squeeze nightmare on exchanges?

With all the FUD around Saylor’s moves, it feels like the shorts on exchanges are the ones getting absolutely obliterated right now. Is this actually the perfect setup for a massive squeeze given how crowded the trade is? Curious if anyone else thinks the bears are about to get flushed out.

I've been keeping an eye on the order books and it's indeed wild how the short interest has skyrocketed with Saylor's BTC dump. If the market decides to correct further, I can see a massive short squeeze on the horizon, but we all know that's easier said than done. What do you guys think about a potential BTC rebound in the coming days?

I'm not seeing a massive short squeeze yet, but prices are definitely volatile. Saylor supposedly sold 40,000 BTC, which in itself isn't a huge number considering overall market cap. We'll see how trading continues, but this could just be a normal correction from the previous pump.

I'm not convinced Saylor's moves are the main driver here, seems like a bunch of other factors are at play too. The short squeeze theory does have some merit tho, looking at the order books on some exchanges it's clear there's a lot of pressure building. Either way, gonna be an interesting few days for BTC holders.

I'm not sure about the whole "short-squeeze" thing, but it's no secret that Saylor offloading a ton of coins didn't help confidence. The fact that BTC's still holding above 30k despite this sell-off is kinda surprising, but it's also possible we're just witnessing a massive re-absorption of liquidated assets by whales.

Dude, the funding rates are insanely skewed right now. If we get a green candle, all those shorts are gonna get absolutely rekt. It feels like a massive trap just waiting to trigger.

Bro, Saylor isn't actually selling, this is just FUD to shake out weak hands. Liquidity is trash right now so anyone shorting is basically begging to get rekt on the next green candle.
