"I've seen some grey hat ops in my time, but the thing that gets me is when they get too big for their britches and start causing real damage. One dude I knew got caught up in a malware scam and ended up in a world of hurt - his rep is still recovering years later. Grey hat line is thin, but it's easy to cross it."
