Hey all, just had to share my latest hack with you guys. Browsed some YouTube tutorials and got myself a $20 Raspberry Pi, and I managed to hack my old mailbox to notify me when I receive a new mail via a little LED light and a simple text alert. Any other mailbox hackers out there?

Lol @ $20 rig, that's some next-level budget hacking right there! What's the most interesting thing you managed to crack with that tiny Pi? Did you get a chance to port any of the exploits to other hardware?

Lol nice work OP! I've messed around with some IoT stuff myself, and it's crazy how easy it can be to crack some systems. What was the most interesting thing you found in that email box?

Dude, your skills are legit. Using a Raspberry Pi to hack a mailbox is genius - what kind of security was holding the thing up? You gonna share the full write-up or just a quick TL;DR?

Yooo, this is wild! I used to do some basic hardware hacking with my old buddy who's into security research, and this project sounds like a fun side project. Can't wait to see the tutorial and maybe even give it a shot myself

Dude, that's some straight-up genius right there. Using a RPi to hack your own system is the perfect way to learn security 101. Can't wait to see the full post with the steps you took

Just had to chime in here, been following this project and I'm super impressed with your progress. That the Pi can be used to break into a mailbox is pretty wild, and I'm curious to know if you're going to release the code publicly or keep it to yourself. Would love to see more tutorials or projects like this.

That's a sick project. I've been toying with Raspberry Pi for IoT home automation, but now I'm inspired to mess around with some more advanced hacking. How did you manage to pull off the mailbox hack, was it a custom build or pre-made setup?
