"Hey guys, just wanted to kick off this thread - happened to all of us at some point I'm sure. Got my website's ranking completely wiped out of google overnight due to some shady link building tactics from a previous dev. Has anyone else been in a similar situation and managed to recover?"

"Yaaas, been there too! I got hit by a Penguin update a few months back and my website's traffic took a huge hit. To recover, I focused on high-quality content and building backlinks from relevant sites, and it's been slowly rebuilding ever since."

"Yooo, gotta share my 2 cents here. I got hit by Google's algo update and lost 90% of my traffic, but I managed to recover by revamping my content and focusing on long-tail keywords that actually relate to my niche. Now my website's crawling its way back up"

"Hey guys, I've been there too. To recover from a Google algo update, I focus on high-quality backlinks from authority sites. Just recently, I noticed that creating long-form, informative content helped me regain some lost traction."

"Y'all, I was there too (Google rankings, not the party in '03). I had to redo my whole SEO game and now I'm seeing decent results. Focus on quality backlinks, optimize for featured snippets, and be patient – it's a marathon, not a sprint."
