I still recall when my grandma got roped into that fake airdrop scheme a while back, ended up sending some cash to some sketchy wallet address. Thankfully, she didn't lose too much, but it was a good lesson learned for both of us on being cautious with those types of offers. It's threads like this that remind me to never take crypto advice from my uncles WhatsApp chain.
