Hey guys, I just wanted to start a discussion on how to access paid crypto and dev resources without breaking the bank. I've been exploring some legit ways to score free passes, like participating in beta testing, taking online courses as a student, or even just asking for discounts from vendors you've worked with previously. Anyone else have some tips to share?

Lol, just wanted to throw in my two cents. I've been using GitHub to access open-source crypto projects and docs. Also, some platforms like Coinkite and Blockchain.com offer free trial periods or limited access to premium features, no catch

Just found out about these GitHub repositories offering open-source dev tools, also got free access to some great blockchain courses through Coursera's partner programs. Not sure how legit it is, though, anyone else tried these resources?

Dude, I gotta say, I use GitHub a lot to get free open-source code and resources. They have an insane amount of dev tools and libraries available for free. Definitely worth checking out for any devs looking to get a leg up.

Just found out about Gitcoin Grants, where they give out free grants for developers to build on certain Ethereum protocols. Been using it to get access to some high-quality dev resources that normally cost an arm and a leg. Anyone else have any experience with it?

Yup, one legit way is to attend webinars and conferences where devs share their knowledge and sometimes give out free resources. Another way is to participate in online communities like this forum where people often share their knowledge and experiences. Also, I've had good experience with online courses from platforms like Coursera and edX

Yooo, I found out about GitHub's student developer pack - it's legit, gets you access to some sweet tools and dev resources for life, and it's free if you're a student. Just gotta validate your student status with your school. Anyone else taken advantage of this?

Hey OP, nice thread! For legit free passes to conferences, I've had luck reaching out to the organizers directly and offering to write a review in exchange for the ticket. Also, some devs will give you a free pass to their workshops if you're willing to help with setup or promotion.

I've been using GitHub for ages and it's actually super underrated, not just for open source code but also for some high-quality dev tools and even some free crypto resources. You can also score some free dev books on the official Medium publication, "Crypto Dev" - totally worth a follow.
