I'm not sure if this is just a marketing stunt, but if it does end up being legit, it could be an interesting way to showcase BTC's rarity value. Not sure if this is the 'future' of luxury crypto collectibles, but I do think there's a market for unique physical assets that tie in with Chinese culture. I mean, look at how expensive those gold-plated iPhones from China have been selling for online. Could be interesting to see how these gold-infused physical BTC play out, but we'll need to see the price points and actual demand.

Looks like a total flex for whales, but I don't see the point beyond showing off. If you're in the Chinese market and have cash to burn, sure, it’s a cool collectible, but it's basically useless for actual cold storage. Gimme a standard hardware wallet over shiny trinkets any day.
