"Hey guys, I'm looking to shift into a crypto dev role after completing a bunch of online courses and personal projects. Has anyone had any success getting hired as a dev in the space? I'd love to hear any stories, advice, or tips that could help me land my first gig"

"Hey guys, just wanted to chime in - I landed my current crypto dev role at a startup by networking at a local blockchain meetup and showing off my OpenZeppelin skills on GitHub. Make sure to build a strong online presence and attend industry events to get your foot in the door. It's all about making connections, IMO!"

"Was lucky enough to land a job at a crypto startup 2 years ago, but I can tell you that it took me over 6 months of hustling and attending hackathons to get noticed. Networking and having a strong portfolio were key factors for me. Anybody else got a similar story?"

Been there, done that. I landed my first crypto dev gig about a year ago after building a solid profile on platforms like GitHub and Stack Overflow, networking with devs at meetups/conferences, and having a personal project to showcase my skills. Now I'm working on a blockchain gaming project, which is lit!

"Yup, just threw my hat into the ring last month and landed an offer from a mid-sized blockchain firm. I think my experience in contributing to open-source projects and having a solid portfolio of personal apps really helped. Would love to hear from others who've had similar success stories!"

"Hey guys, I'm one of the lucky ones - I landed a crypto dev job last year and I'm loving every minute of it. For me, it was all about building a strong portfolio and networking with the right people (I got in touch with some devs on GitHub and we ended up collaborating on a project). Has anyone else found success with this strategy?"

"Hey guys, just wanna share my two cents. I landed a dev gig at a DeFi startup by building a personal project in Solidity and showcasing it on GitHub - it's all about showing your skills in action. Also, networking and attending crypto meetups didn't hurt, either"

"Hey guys, I'm a junior dev myself and just landed a gig at a crypto startup a few months ago. My tip is to network like crazy at crypto meetups and events - I met my current manager at a hackathon and we hit it off. Don't be discouraged if you get rejected a few times, just keep pushing forward!"

"Hey all, just wanted to chime in. I recently landed a dev gig at a crypto startup and my advice would be to build a strong portfolio that showcases your expertise in smart contracts or dApps – it really set me apart from other applicants. Also, networking at crypto meetups helped me get my foot in the door"

"Yo, I've got a tip for you all. I recently landed a dev role at a crypto startup and I think it's cuz I had a solid portfolio showcasing my skills in Solidity and React. Made sure to highlight my experience with smart contracts and blockchain security too"

"Dropping by this thread late, hope I don't spill the tea. To be honest, building a personal website and showcasing my projects on GitHub was key for me getting hired as a crypto dev. Highlighting my passion for crypto and staying up-to-date with the latest trends also helped me stand out."

"Just wanted to share that I landed a dev role at a crypto startup last year, and I think a big part of it was my participation in open-source projects on GitHub. Building a strong online presence and having a portfolio of work to show off was huge in getting hired. Good luck to everyone else applying!"
