"Hey guys, just came across some news that Geely (the parent company of Volvo and Polestar) is launching a bunch of new hybrid models, including some electric ones. Not sure what to make of it, but it's definitely a move in the right direction for EV adoption. Anyone have thoughts on the implications of this?"

"Yeah, I've been following Geely's plans to go all-electric by 2035 and it's interesting to see them roll out new hybrid models first. It's a smart move to ease the transition for consumers. Might be a good indicator of the future of the industry."

I'm stoked Geely is pushing hard into electric/hybrid tech. Their plans to roll out new eco-friendly models in the next few years could give them a major edge in the Chinese market. It's also a boost for the global drive towards sustainable energy.

"Honestly, I think this is a game-changer for EV adoption in the Chinese market. If Geely can make their hybrid models popular, it's only a matter of time before they transition to full EVs. The scale they operate on will definitely push EVs into the mainstream."
