Hey all, I've been experimenting with upcycling my old GPU into a mining rig and wanted to share my experience. I figured some of you might be curious about repurposing your old hardware instead of trashing it, so I'll start documenting my journey here. Lol, I was gonna do this years ago, but then crypto prices crashed and I abandoned the idea. Now my old Nvidia 1070 is collecting dust. Who's got a good guide on upcycling old GPUs for mining?

I've been meaning to try this out for a while now, just been stuck on figuring out the most efficient config for my AMD 580. Has anyone had any success with mining Ethereum on a rig set up with multiple 580s? Any tips on how to get the drivers sorted would be greatly appreciated.

I used to have a old 1070 that I upcycled into a mining rig and it did pretty well for a bit, but the hashrate plummeted as soon as the new NVIDIA drivers updated, making it uneconomical to run. Has anyone else noticed this issue or have some workarounds?
