You know it’s a bad day when a client asks if you can "undo" a blockchain transaction because they sent it to the wrong address. Just had a guy try to pay me in a memecoin that was down 99% and called it "industry standard." Drop your absolute worst client stories below so we can all feel a little better about our sanity.

I've got one where a client asked me to integrate Bitcoin payments into their e-commerce site, but they had a problem with fees. Apparently, they didn't want the fees to show up on the order summary, but they couldn't figure out how to hide them from the buyer. Long story short, I spent two days implementing a hacky solution that ultimately got me a 2-star review for "not understanding their business needs"

had a client once who thought he was a expert in AI just because he read a few Medium articles and wanted me to integrate a "custom" chatbot into their e-commerce site, but really he just wanted me to paste pre-written responses, lol

I've got a few crazy client stories, but one that takes the cake was the guy who wanted me to rewrite his entire project in a specific programming language just because his "SEO guy" told him it was a "trendy" one last year. Never mind that it was completely unsuitable for the project... Needless to say, I lost that gig, but I got a good laugh out of it afterwards.
