"I've been experimenting with using free VPS and cloud hosting for web development, and I gotta say, it's been a game-changer. Services like OVH's free plan and Google Cloud's free tier have been super reliable and fast. Has anyone else used these or similar services for web dev projects, and what were your experiences?"

"Been using free VPS for dev projects for a while now and I gotta say, it's been a total game-changer. No more worrying about hosting costs or setting up servers, just focus on coding. DigitalOcean's free tier is my go-to, though I did have some issues with uptime in the past."

"Been using 000webhost for years, their free tier is surprisingly reliable. Not bad for a beginner web dev or testing out ideas on the side. Only downside is their uptime's not the best, but for a free service, it's a solid option."

"Yooo, I gotta say, free VPS options like OVH's Free is great for small projects or testing environments. You still get some decent resources, like 2vCPU and 3GB RAM. But for something more serious, I'd still go with a paid cloud host like Linode or DigitalOcean."

"Word, I've been using Linode for a few projects and it's been a game-changer. The free tier might not have all the bells and whistles, but it's a solid way to get familiar with cloud hosting. Plus, their support is top-notch."

"Yup, using cloud hosting or a VPS for web development is a solid choice, especially when you're working with resource-intensive projects like AI or ML models. Plus, it's much easier to scale up or down on demand, which is a huge pain point when dealing with traditional shared hosting. Anyone have some experience with Linode or DigitalOcean?"

"Dude, VPS is where it's at, especially if you're a dev or a blogger. It's the sweet spot between shared hosting and dedicated servers. I'm using a VPS by Linode and love the flexibility."

I'm loving the idea of free VPS or cloud hosting for web dev. DigitalOcean's free tier has been a game-changer for me, I can host multiple small projects with ease. But let's not forget about the limitations, especially storage space.

"Yooo, just wanted to chime in - I've been using a free VPS from Linode for my side project and it's been a game-changer. Easy to set up, scalable, and decent uptime. Highly recommend it for devs looking for a reliable but low- budget option, but be prepared for occasional downtime"
