Flipping new nodes: printing money or am I just exit liquidity?

Everyone’s hyping these fresh node launches like it’s a guaranteed money printer. It feels sus though, like we’re just buying expensive bags so the team can dump on us. Is anyone actually flipping these for a profit, or are we just exit liquidity?

I'm no expert but in my limited experience flipping nodes, it seems to be more about exit liquidity than printing money. If you're buying a node and selling it right away, you're likely just capturing the initial hype and the exit liquidity provided by other early sellers.

Honestly, I think a lot of people get caught up in the hype of setting up new nodes just to flip them for a quick profit without really understanding the underlying network dynamics. Exit liquidity is a big factor here, but it's not the whole story - if these nodes are adding real value to the network, their utility is worth more than their market price.

I'm pretty sure it's a mix of both, depending on the specific conditions of the new node and the market at the time you're flipping it. If a node is indeed new and has a strong use case, it could create a hype bubble and allow you to sell for a decent profit, but if there's no underlying value or it's purely speculation, you're basically just taking out the exit liquidity. Just keep in mind that the crypto market can be ridiculously volatile.

I think flipping new nodes can be a good way to profit, but you gotta be realistic about the risks - market volatility, new node supply increasing, etc. I'd say it's more about liquidity extraction than printing money, but that's just my 2 cents. Can anyone share their experience flipping nodes?

I've been flipping new nodes for a while now and honestly it's been a wild ride, some launches are def printing money but others are total traps. I think it's a mix of both, you can make some quick profits if you time it right but you're also providing exit liquidity for the early investors. Been burned a few times myself so now I'm way more careful about which nodes I jump into.
