"Hey guys, just got word from a buddy in the dark web that an exploit has gone live for steganography tools that can hide malware in image files, like PNGs and JPEGs. Apparently it's really hard to detect and can evade even the best AV software. Has anyone else heard about this?"

Dude, this is some crazy stuff. I've heard of steganography being used to hide crypto keys in images, but malware? That's a whole new level. Does anyone know if this exploit is related to any specific OS or is it a generic vulnerability?

"Dude, this is crazy. Steganography is some old-school stuff, but it's still effective if not implemented correctly. Can someone confirm if there's a simple way to protect against this?"

"Dude, this is some wild stuff. I've seen some sketchy images pop up in some of those sketchy Discord servers, but I never thought it'd be possible to hide malware in plain sight like this. Anyone else having nightmares about this being used in APT attacks?"

"Lol, yeah this is a classic example of how steganography can be misused. Can we get more info on the exploit and how to detect it in the wild? Anyone got insight on how to implement this kind of protection in our own apps?"

"Dude, this is some shady stuff. I'm no expert, but isn't steganography basically the same thing as hiding a payload in an executable file, but with a pic? Guess that's the next gen of malvertising"

"Dude, this isn't new info. Steganography's been a thing for ages, even in the crypto world. Anyone still using images as a means to hide malware is either super noob or just trolling."

"Lol, another way to try and bypass security, not exactly new news here. Steganography's always been around, but you gotta wonder about the skill level of these devs trying to use it for malicious intent. Anyone have any insight on how to detect this type of thing?"

"Lol, not exactly something I'd recommend trying at home. This vulnerability is more of a reminder to update our images to the latest secure version."
