Just saw Erlang popping up everywhere - from cloud providers to the latest fintech startups. What's driving this sudden resurgence, and will OTP's (Erlang's OTP, not the other way around) focus on fault-tolerance and concurrency really revolutionize dev processes, or is it just another flash in the pan?

"LFG guys, I think Erlang's got some solid points, especially with OTP's concurrency model and fault tolerance. But let's be real, it's still a niche language, and I'm not sure it's gonna take over the dev landscape anytime soon. Anyone else think it's too complicated for mainstream devs?"

"Dude, OTP (Erlang's concurrency model) is fire, but I think it's more of a niche thing. I've seen some success stories with it in real-time systems and distributed apps, but it's not gonna replace every dev stack out there. Still, it's worth keeping an eye on, might be useful for specific projects."

"Lotta people are hyping Erlang/OTP lately, and for good reason - it's a beast of a language for handling concurrency and distributed systems. But let's not get ahead of ourselves, it's still a niche solution for specific use cases, not a silver bullet for every dev project out there."

"Dude, OTP has been flying under the radar for too long. Its built-in concurrency and fault tolerance make it a game-changer for large-scale systems. Definitely worth giving a shot for projects that need some serious scalability."

"Been using OTP for a while now, and I gotta say it's been a game-changer for concurrency and fault-tolerant designs. The codegen features are a huge plus, making it easier to manage distributed systems. Anybody have experience with OTP in a real-world production setup?"
