"Hey everyone, I'm new to this space and I've been trying to wrap my head around crypto for a while now. I feel like there's so much hype around it, but I'm not sure where to start or what I need to do to get involved. For those of you who have been around the block a few times, what would be the top 5 things you wish you knew when you first started out?"

"Hey OP, I gotta say, your guide is super helpful! Been trying to get my friend into crypto for months, and this thread is exactly what I needed to share with him. Any plans on covering more advanced topics, like derivatives and lending?"

"Hey OP, great thread, been looking for a resource like this for a newb in my family. The 'hobby wallet vs exchange wallet' section is super helpful, I was thinking of getting him a Ledger Nano for a secure start. Has anyone else used it with a beginner?"

"Hey OP, I think this is a solid beginner's guide! One thing I'd add is to also start with a reputable exchange like Binance or Coinbase, they're user-friendly and make it easy to get your feet wet. Also, make sure to do your own research and not fall for scams"

"Hey guys, just wanted to chime in - I think @CryptoNewbie did a solid job breaking down the basics for newbies. One thing I'd add is making sure you understand the difference between fungible and non-fungible tokens, especially if you're interested in NFTs."

"What's up guys, I'm kinda new here myself. Been following the Dummies Guide thread and I gotta say, it's been super helpful in getting my head around the basics. Anyone recommend a reliable exchange besides Binance?"

"Hey guys, been there done that. I'd recommend checking out Coinbase or Binance for your first exchange, super easy to navigate and they offer some great learning resources. Don't forget to do your own research and don't invest more than you can afford to lose!"

"Dude, I totally agree with this thread. For anyone starting out, I'd say start with the basics: understanding blockchains, wallets, and exchanges. Once you've grasped those, you can start exploring different coins and their use cases."
