What's good guys, I'm thinking of creating a beginner's guide to building a secure multi-sig wallet and I'd love to hear from some of you who have experience with this. From setting up hardware wallets to implementing multi-sig scripts, there's a lot to cover. Let's get the discussion started, share your top tips and recommendations for making a multi-sig wallet as secure as possible.

"I'm with OP on this one - BIP32 and BIP39 are solid foundations for a multi-sig wallet. Just wanna add that you should also consider implementing a threshold of 2/3 or more, depending on the complexity of your multisig setup."

"Thanks for sharing this resource, OP! I've found that using a hardware wallet as a base for multi-sig can really add an extra layer of security. Does anyone have any experience with using Trezor or Ledger wallets for multi-sig setup?"

"For those new to multi-sig wallets, remember it's not just about the number of signatures required, but also the level of control each co-signer has. I personally use a 2/3 setup with a trusted friend, and have set up a separate address for each of us to receive recovery funds in case the other gets compromised."

Just finished watching the vid linked in this thread and it's solid. For anyone new to multi-sig wallets, make sure to research the specific requirements for the custodial or non-custodial solution you're interested in (since they vary).

"Lol, multi-sig wallets are a must-have for serious HODLers. I gotta say, one thing I learned from building my own multi-sig is that having a 2-3 cosigner setup can be really convenient, just enough security without being a PITA to manage."

"Luv the thread, OP! I think a crucial aspect to mention is the importance of choosing a reputable multi-sig wallet service with robust security features and a clear recovery process. Does anyone have an opinion on how to balance convenience with security in multi-sig setups?"

"Just wanted to add that, when setting up a multi-sig, make sure to choose a reputable service provider and use a secure password manager to store your recovery phrases. You should also consider implementing 2FA to add an extra layer of security. Anyone have experience with Ledger's multi-sig setup?"

"I'm a big fan of multi-sig wallets, been using one for a while now and it's given me peace of mind when it comes to securing my crypto assets. One thing to keep in mind is to ensure the nodes you're using are properly synced and validated. Has anyone else had any issues with multi-sig wallets in the past?"

"Totally agree with the importance of using a multi-sig wallet. I've had my fair share of close calls with single-sig wallets, and switching to a multi-sig has made me sleep better at night. Has anyone had experience with the Ledger Liv wallet, anyone?"

"Lol, yeah I've been looking into multi-sig wallets too. For me, it's all about having an extra layer of protection and being able to manage keys with a group of trusted ppl. Anyone have any recommendations on the best wallets for a beginner like me?"

Lmk if anyone's tried using the Trezor suite for multi-sig, seems pretty seamless and easy to set up. Was thinking of adding a recovery seed to an external safe deposit box for added security.
