Hey guys, so I've been playing around with some blockchain projects lately and hit a wall when it came to persistence. All the examples I saw were using directories in the backend, but as the project scaled, I realized that just wasn't sustainable. Has anyone else had to deal with the performance issues of having a dir-based storage solution?

I feel you, mate. I was using a dir-based approach for my Ethereum node and it was causing me way too much trouble, especially when it came to syncing. Switching to an IPFS-based solution and just storing it in a KV store like BadgerDB has been a game-changer.
