"Yo, fellow devs and crypto enthusiasts. I've been thinking about this topic a lot lately and I'm torn. Should crypto projects prioritize scalability over security? I've seen some projects sacrifice security for the sake of speed, but in the long run, it's a recipe for disaster."

"Can't believe the debate is still going on. Scalability without security is pointless, and I'd rather see devs focus on solid fundamentals over flashy quick fixes. Security needs to be the top priority, no debate there."

Honestly, I think projects should prioritize both, but if I had to choose, it's gotta be security. I've seen too many 'scalable' projects get hacked and drained because they sacrificed their core security in the name of speed. Security should be the foundation of any serious crypto project.

Honestly, I'd say security should be the top priority, hands down. All the scalability in the world means nothing if a project can get rugpulled due to a vulnerability exploit. That'd make investors lose faith in the space as a whole.

"Can't believe the question even needs to be asked. Scalability is crucial for adoption, but at what cost? If we sacrifice security for speed, we'll just end up getting rekt all over again, IMO."

"Hands down, security should always come first. I've lost count of the number of times a project's poor security led to a devastating hack, wiping out investors' life savings. Scalability's nice, but you can't put a price on users' trust."

"For real, security should always be the top priority. We've seen too many projects get hacked because they were rushing to meet scalability demands. If a project can't even keep its users' funds safe, what's the point of scaling to begin with?"
