What's up guys, I'm trying to design a logo for my side project crypto coin, but want to make sure I get it right. I've seen some terrible logos in the space, so anyone have any best practices or feedback to share on what makes a logo decent? Specifically, what are the key elements a crypto logo should have?

Not a designer, but I think simplicity and uniqueness are key. I've seen some logos that are just a regurgitation of existing logos, not doing their brand any favors. My personal fave is the simple, minimalist design of the Bitcoin logo – gets the point across without being too flashy.

Love the topic! For a decent crypto logo, I think it's gotta be simple, yet memorable. Something like the 'LTC' logo with the horse, it's iconic and tells a story.

Yo, I'm no expert, but I think a good crypto logo should be simple, yet unique and memorable. Avoid anything too on-the-nose or cliché, like dollar signs or chains. Has anyone tried using AI tools to generate a logo, or are those just a meme?

I'm digging the minimalist approach in post #4, but I think a bit more color diversity would make the logo more recognizable and memorable. What do you guys think about using a typography-based logo for a crypto project, it's simple yet scalable.

Love the thread, OP! For me, simplicity is key in crypto logos - avoid anything too complex or misleading. I think the MetaMask logo is a good example of a simple, recognizable design.

I'm no design pro, but I think simplicity is key when it comes to crypto logos. Avoid anything too complex or cluttered, as it can be hard to read/scanned on smaller screens. Keep it clean and recognizable, like the BTC logo

I'm gonna keep this simple - a good crypto logo should be simple, memorable, and scalable. Avoid clichés and overused symbols like locks or flames, and don't be afraid to get a bit creative. Some of y'all's logos from the last contest were lit tho

Hey guys, I've gotta say, simplicity is key here. I love the logo for Solana, it's just a clean and memorable circle with a bold font next to it. Less is often more, just my two cents.
