Title: Derway Doppelganger: Has anyone else seen the uncanny resemblance between Derway's UI and an old-school car GPS?

"Hey guys, I was just messing around with Derway's mobile app and I stumbled upon this crazy coincidence - their UI looks shockingly similar to an old Garmin GPS from like 10 years ago. Has anyone else noticed this or am I just seeing things? Could this be a deliberate design choice or just a weird coincidence?"

"Dude, I've seen people mention that before and I gotta agree, the UI does bear a strong resemblance to those old car GPS systems from the early 2000s. I think it's kinda funny they went for such an old-school vibe, but Derway's UI is actually really clean and easy to use."

I'm no UI designer, but I do recall seeing some old Garmin GPS units that reminded me of Derway's layout. Maybe they took some inspiration from those designs?
