Everyone’s hyping reputation tokens rn, but can your digital clout actually replace fiat? I’m trying to figure out if a high rep score is enough to get you a loan or buy groceries without touching cold hard cash. Seems wild to me, but maybe social capital really is the new gold?

Honestly, I'm not convinced digital cred scores can completely replace traditional forms of currency, at least not yet. Reputation tokens have their benefits, like more accessible, decentralized lending and lower barriers to entry, but they still carry significant volatility risk. I'd like to see a more stable ecosystem before abandoning cash entirely.

I'm all for reputation tokens, but I still think they're not a replacement for tradable assets. Until they can provide a tangible, tradable value, it's hard to see them as a reliable means of exchange. We all know how volatility can kill a reputation token's credibility in an instant.

Idk if Reputation Tokens can replace traditional cred entirely but they've shown some potential in incentivizing good behavior in online communities and could be a decent alternative for certain use cases. Still, I think we're a few steps away from being able to pay rent with REP or BTC alone.
