"Db Storage: SSD or HDD for Crypto Nodes?"

"Hey guys, been thinking about setting up a crypto node for personal use and got stuck on storage options. Anyone have experience with using SSDs (solid-state drives) vs HDDs (hard disk drives) for node storage? I'm worried about the tradeoff between speed and capacity."

"Honestly, for a crypto node, I'd say go for the SSD. The random read/write IOPS make a huge difference, especially for blockchains that require a lot of disk access. HDDs are more suited for data storage, imo."

"Dude, if you're running a crypto node, SSD all the way. The read and write speeds are gonna make a huge difference, especially if you're dealing with a large block chain like Bitcoin. Can't stress this enough, SSD is worth the extra cash for node performance."
