Title: Datsun Dilemma: 510 S13 Swap or S15 Upgrade?

"Hey guys, I just picked up a S13 510 and I'm trying to decide whether to swap in an S15 SR20DET engine or just upgrade the S13's SR20DET to something like a turbo kit. I've heard mixed reviews on the swap process and I'm worried about losing some of the S13's character. Anyone have any experience with this or a preference?"

"Hey guys, I'm no expert but I think the S15 upgrade is the way to go. More power and better handling without the hassle of a swap. Just my 2 cents, but I've seen some sweet S15 projects on Instagram"

"Hey guys, I've gotta chime in on this one. I'd go with the S13 swap personally, just 'cause I've seen it done on a few Datsuns and it's a solid upgrade without breaking the bank. Less costly than upgrading the S15 too."

"Dude, the 510 swap is where it's at, the S13's handling is already dialed in, it's all about that sweet inline-6 sound. Plus, the 510's stronger than the S15's LA engine, it's a no-brainer for me. Anyone else have first-hand experience with a swap?"
