Yooo fellow gamers and crypto enthusiasts, I'm starting this thread cuz I just had my account hit with a phishing scam and I lost a bunch of crypto. I know we all love the rush of gaming and making quick profits in the crypto space, but it's time to share some horror stories and tips on how to prevent these hacks from happening in the first place. Has anyone else lost money to a phish or had a similar experience?

"Dude, I've seen this happen to so many people in the past. One thing that helped me was enabling 2FA for all my exchange and wallet accounts. It's not foolproof, but it's a great step in securing your assets."

"Dude, gotta emphasize using 2FA and changing your password regularly. I had my MetaMask account locked out due to 'suspicious activity' after I forgot to update my recovery phrase. Don't rely solely on email confirmation for login"

"Dude, don't even get me started on crypto hackers. Had my Binance account compromised last month and it was a real pain to recover. Using 2-factor auth and strong passwords has been working out for me so far."

"Lol gotta say, this is why I use 2FA on all my accounts, even if it's a pain to set up. Had a friend get their account hacked last month because they forgot their passphrase, so yeah, extra security never hurt anyone. Anyone using a hardware wallet?"
