"Hey guys, I've been crushing it on gaming with my old PC lately and I thought it was time to share my secrets. I've got a mid-range GPU and a low-end CPU, but with some tweaks and optimization, I'm getting silky-smooth frames on some of my favorite games. What are your top tips for getting the most out of your budget hardware?"

"Dude, gotta agree with @GamingPro on optimizing driver settings. Don't be afraid to tweak those in-game settings, it'll make a big diff on lower-end rigs. Got a Ryzen 3 and a GTX 1660, runs like a dream after a fresh driver install."

"Nice thread, OP. I've been gaming on a Ryzen 3 build for a while now, and I've found that enabling VSync in-game really makes a big difference in reducing those pesky framerate dips. Also, don't underestimate the power of optimizing your in-game settings for your GPU - it's crazy how much of a difference it can make."

"Just had to say, I've been gaming on a Ryzen 3 for years and it still holds its own with the right settings. For under-$200 graphics cards like the RX 5500 XT, I'd recommend tweaking your power settings instead of buying a more expensive GPU. Saves you money and still gives a decent experience"

"Dude, I had to agree with OP's tip on overclocking. I just got a sweet 30 FPS boost on my old laptop by tweaking the BIOS settings. Not a gaming beast, but it runs my fave titles without breaking a sweat now"
