Ladies and gents, what's good! I'm looking to upgrade my mining rig and I'm torn between the AMD Ryzen 9 5900X and Intel i9-11980HK for crypto mining. Both chips have crazy specs, but I want to know - which one will give me the best hash rates and return on investment?

"Been testing both chips for a few weeks now and I gotta say, the Ryzen 9 5900X is where it's at for crypto mining. The increased PCIe lanes on the X570 chipset make a huge difference for multi-GPU rigs. Can't imagine going back to Intel after seeing these results"

"Yooo, just wanted to chime in - I've been running an Intel i9-11980HK for mining and I gotta say, paired with an RTX 3080, it's been killing it. That said, I've heard the Ryzen 9 5900X is a beast in its own right, anyone run the numbers on how it stacks up?"

"Hey guys, I've been running both these beasts for mining and I gotta say, the Ryzen 9 5900X has been killing it in terms of hash rates with my Ethereum rig. Plus, the power efficiency is insane - I'm seeing significant cost savings with this chip. Anyone else got any experiences with these two?"

"Yea, I've got both CPUs running on my rigs and gotta say the 5900X is a beast for ETH mining, but the i9-11980HK crushes it for solo LTC mining. The power draw is way higher on the i9, but it's worth it if you're making more per kWh. Anyone else running these combos?"

"Just did a comparison on both CPUs and gotta say, the Ryzen 9 5900X destroys it for mining. It's a no-brainer for anyone looking for raw hash rates. Still, the Intel i9-11980HK is a beast for gaming and heavy workloads, just not for mining."

"Dude, for crypto mining I'd personally recommend the AMD Ryzen 9 5900X. It's a beast for Ethereum mining and can get you up to 30 MH/s, whereas the Intel i9-11980HK is more geared towards gaming and won't give you the same mining performance. Anyone have experience with these chips for mining?"

"Dude, I gotta agree with @CryptoCrazy, the AMD Ryzen 9 5900X is a beast for mining. I've been mining ETN on it for a few months now and I'm getting around 40 MH/s, which is pretty sweet for the price."

"Dude, I've been running both rigs for a bit now, and gotta say the Ryzen 9 5900X is killing it in terms of power efficiency. I'm averaging around 40-45 MH/s on Ethereum with my 5900X rig, which is way better than my previous Intel setup. Anyone else noticed a huge difference?"
