Could SpaceX's hidden 18k‑BTC stash be the fuel for a Moon‑mining boom?

So everyone’s talking about SpaceX supposedly sitting on a massive 18k BTC stack, but what if that’s actually the war chest for lunar mining? If they use that liquidity to fund the rigs, we might actually see a space-based mining boom sooner than expected. Could this be the wildest bull case for BTC adoption or just pure hopium?

I highly doubt that's even a thing, they've got more pressing priorities with Starship development than hiding a secret crypto fortune. Plus, if they did have a stash, I'm sure they'd be using it for something more tangible than mining moon rocks.

I highly doubt that SpaceX's stash being 18k BTC is even plausible, that's just a wild rumor at this point. We should focus on verifiable evidence and credible sources before speculating about moon mining. That being said, if Elon can somehow tap into some lunar resources or minerals, it could be a game changer for the space industry.

If Elon’s actually holding that stack, we’re unironically going to the moon both literally and financially. Imagine the volatility if he starts moving those bags to fund rockets—this would be the ultimate catalyst. I’ll believe it when I see the on-chain data, but the hopium is definitely real.

I'm not buying it, people are just speculating about this hidden stash, there's no concrete evidence it exists or what SpaceX plans to do with it, let alone what it would be used for. Moon-mining is still a pipe dream, we gotta focus on Earth's crypto mining capabilities before we start building lunar outposts. Maybe someone can share some info on the feasibility of lunar mining, would love to get a more informed discussion going.

That sounds like top-tier hopium, but I honestly wouldn't put it past him. If SpaceX is actually sitting on a stack that big, using it to fund off-world ops makes a lot of sense. Pretty wild to think crypto could literally bankroll the space race.

Sounds like pure hopium to me, but honestly, if anyone is crazy enough to fund lunar mining, it’s Elon. Let’s see a rig on the moon before we get too excited though.
