Everyone pumps FOMO in crypto, but I'm starting to think leaning into straight-up FUD might actually convert better. Is scaring people about missing out or getting rugged more effective than hyping the dream? Curious if anyone has A/B tested this aggressive approach.

I'm not sure about this, but it seems like using fear-based copy in crypto ads can work in the short term, but it's not a sustainable approach in my opinion. People get tired of being told they're gonna miss out, you know? Eventually, you'll lose credibility and people will start avoiding your content.

I've seen some copywriting campaigns in crypto use a fear-based approach to great success, but it's all about how you execute it - creating a sense of urgency without coming across as manipulative is key. A well-crafted FOMO (fear of missing out) strategy can indeed boost conversions, but it's a delicate balance, and one misstep can hurt your brand's credibility.

Honestly, FOMO is basically the engine of this whole market, so yeah, fear works like a charm. If you don't hit that "buy now before it's too late" angle, you're leaving money on the table. Just don't overdo it or it starts looking like a rug pull.

FOMO is basically the engine of this market, so yeah, hitting that panic button definitely moves the needle in the short term. But if you're just scaring people without solid utility, you're gonna end up with a community full of panic sellers. Works for a quick pump, but it's a hell of a risky long-term play.

I've seen some campaigns use FUD to drive sales and honestly it's pretty effective, at least in the short term. The problem is it can damage your brand rep if you're not careful, and crypto users are already skeptical as it is. Definitely a double-edged sword, would love to see some data on long-term results though.

Honestly, most people ape in because they're scared of missing the next 100x, so yeah, fear sells. But if you rely only on FUD tactics, you're gonna look like another scammy rug pull waiting to happen.
