Title: Converting Altcoins for Mainstream Adoption: Where's the Sweet Spot?

Hey guys, I've been pondering this for a while now - what's the ideal size and complexity for an altcoin to become mainstream? Is it having a few million users or should it be more like a smaller, niche community with a specific use case? Anyone have any thoughts on how to make an altcoin 'go big'?

I think we're still way off from mainstream adoption, but I do see potential in smaller coins with unique use cases that aren't too complicated for new users to get on board with. Maybe coins like Cosmos (ATOM), which has a pretty robust ecosystem and doesn't require too much technical knowledge. What's your take on this?

"Hey guys, I think we're looking at this the wrong way. Instead of focusing on converting alts, we should be focusing on developing use cases that actually bring value. That's the real sweet spot for mainstream adoption, imho."

"I think we're still in the experimental phase, but if I had to pick a sweet spot, I'd say it's around $100-500 million in market cap. At this point, you've got enough liquidity and a decent community, but it's still early enough to innovate and differentiate yourself from the bigger players. Anyone else got thoughts on this?"
