CEX locked me out. Is arbitration a total joke?

Got locked out of my account and support is totally ghosting me, so I started looking at their arbitration clause. It seems like a total trap designed to make retail give up, but has anyone actually tried it? Just trying to figure out if I’m cooked or if there's a chance.

Yeah, I've had issues with arbitration in the past, it's like they just rubber stamp whatever the exchange wants. I've seen cases where people get screwed over by the "neutral" third party too. Maybe we need to start pushing for more transparency in the process?

Yeah I had a similar issue with Binance last year, they froze my account without warning and I had to jump thru hoops to resolve it, and yeah I'd say arbitration sucks, it's just a bunch of automated scripts that don't give a sh*t about your problem.

I've had issues with CEX in the past, and their arbitration process is basically just a waste of time. It's all about CYA (cover your butt) for them, not actually helping customers resolve issues fairly. Has anyone had any success getting a decent outcome through arbitration?

Dude I feel you, got locked out of my Binance account last year and their support was super unhelpful. I ended up filing a complaint with the relevant authorities and it took months to resolve, so yeah arbitration can be a joke. Has anyone had any luck with those crypto ombudsman services btw?

Honestly, yeah. It’s basically a kangaroo court since the CEX usually pays the arbitrators. Unless you’ve got serious cash for a lawyer, you’re prob fighting a losing battle.

Honestly, arbitration clauses in their ToS are basically designed to wear you down until you quit. It’s a huge pain and usually not worth the fees or the time. You’re probably better off blasting them on social media to get a real human to look at your ticket.

Honestly, yeah, it’s basically a trap designed to bleed you dry with fees until you give up. They know it costs way more to arbitrate than the average account balance, so they bank on you just walking away. Total grift.

Yeah, binding arbitration is usually a trap designed to make it too expensive for retail to fight back. Unless you have massive funds stuck, you're better off blasting them on Twitter until they actually respond.

Yeah, pretty much a scam designed to make you give up. The fees are insane and the process drags on forever, so they’re banking on you folding before it's over.

I had a similar issue with CryptoPancake last year, their "arbitration" process took months and ultimately ended in a resolution that benefited their business more than mine. Don't expect much help, you'd be better off taking a loss and just moving on. Some CEX's have better support systems than others, but it seems like they're all about protecting themselves first.
