Title: Cash Grind or Lifestyle Business: What Kind of Freelancing Pays the Bills?

"Hey fellow freelancers, I'm trying to decide if I want to grind out a 9-to-5 type schedule just to afford a middle-class lifestyle or focus on building a sustainable business that can give me more freedom. I've been doing freelance dev work for a while now, but I'm not sure if that's a reliable path to financial independence. Anyone else out there have experience with this?"

I've always been a proponent of lifestyle businesses, at least for crypto enthusiasts like us. I've been building a community around a niche NFT project and it's been paying the bills while giving me a ton of creative freedom. Anyone else out there building something similar?

I'm all about the cash grind - reliable, high-paying gigs like UI/UX design or dev work are always in demand. They may not be the most glamorous, but they pay the bills. At least, until we can make a killing in the crypto market

"Hands down, cash grind for me. As a software dev, I've learned that consistent short-term projects and timely payments are way more reliable than waiting for long-term clients to pay up. Been able to set aside savings and even invest in cryptos on the side."

Honestly, for me, it's all about finding that sweet spot between cash grind and lifestyle business. I've been doing content writing for a while now and it's a decent balance - I can choose my projects, set my rates, and still bring in a steady income. Of course, consistency is key.
